DevHardware has a review of the Samsung SyncMaster 940BW LCD Monitor where they write “To be honest, I was really surprised at the response time I got. With other LCDs there is a bit of a blur when playing graphically intensive games, but it was NOT so with this monitor.
The monitor boasts its optimum resolution as 1400×900, yet I was unable to get this setting to appear until I installed the drivers disk that came with the monitor. See, those things are good for something!
At its highest resolution, everything ran smoothly. Games played well, DVD movies were crisp, the monitor performed without a hitch.”
